    New power supply facilities will be built in the Primorsky and Nevsky districts of St. Petersburg.

    At a working meeting between the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, and members of the city government, projects of PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo aimed at improving the reliability of electricity supply to consumers and expanding opportunities for technological connection of new subscribers were approved.
    The investor is implementing two strategically significant projects for the city: the construction of a new substation in the Primorsky district and the reconstruction of the existing substation in the Nevsky district.
    For the implementation of these projects in the Primorsky district, the investor has approved the targeted provision of land plot 1 on Mebelnaya Street – a closed 110 kV Begovaya transformer substation will appear here.
    "The construction and modernization of engineering and energy infrastructure is evidence of the city's development. There is no shortage of electricity capacity in St. Petersburg right now. In recent years, several state-of-the-art substations have been commissioned. Nevertheless, we must be proactive," said Alexander Beglov.
    The total building area of the new substation will be more than 3,300 square meters. The building area is more than 1,500 square meters. meters. The building will house two power transformers with a capacity of 40 MVA each and two complete switchgear. The construction period of the facility and the lease agreement on investment terms are valid for 48 months.
    Also, during the working meeting, the conclusion of an agreement with PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo on the construction of a site in the Nevsky district on Bolshevikov Avenue was approved. This decision will allow the investor to reconstruct the existing substation No. 108 Nevsky, which will replace the switchgear and transformers with more powerful ones.
    In accordance with the design documentation, it is planned to build a single-storey block-modular building combined with a general substation control center. The building area will be over 180 square meters. The building area is 205 square meters. meters. The construction period of the facility and the agreement on building are valid for 36 months.
    The implementation of the projects is provided for by the investment programs of PJSC ROSSETI Lenenergo, approved by the orders of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
