The committee on investments prepares for SPIEF of signing of agreements with investors and presentation of models of new projects

The committee on investments within the direction conducts preparation for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) which will take place on May 22-24.

- A number of agreements prepares for signing on a platform of a forum with the Russian and foreign companies which plan to realize investment projects in St. Petersburg. Signings will take place in the first days of work of a forum, - the chairman of Committee on investments Irina Babyuk reported, having specified that details – names of the companies, the sums and a subject of agreements with them - will be presented to the general public at the forum.

Also the Committee on investments will present models of perspective investment projects of St. Petersburg on SPIEF platform. They will take place in pavilion No. 3 which will be issued with use of an investment brand of the city. Besides, for the purpose of advance of business capacity of St. Petersburg to SPIEF it is planned to place an investment logo of the city on advertizing designs of key highways of the city and in the new terminal of the Pulkovo airport. We will remind, for the first time the investment brand of the city was used thus during carrying out the Summit of "Group of twenty" in St. Petersburg.

Within SPIEF joint meeting of Council for investments also will for the first time take place at the Governor of St. Petersburg and Investment council at the Governor of the Leningrad region on whom heads of regions plan to discuss topical issues on interaction regarding increase of investment appeal of the Northwest region. Joint meetings of Councils of two regions further it is planned to hold regularly.
